Just got these ‘rocket’ flights and loving them. I just went down 4g in weight, to the Mervyn King 22g set and they (the dart) feels a lot smaller. My triple 20’s have suffered as I find the right height, but they fly straight and true. They are meant to have the same surface area as the standard flight.

What I am finding thought is the grouping can be a lot tighter without deflections. They also don’t seem to suffer as much damage as the standards, with the tips flexing? I’ve like the smooth barrels of the Kings as I like slide/stacking, and these flights seem to help this.

It might just be today, but I’m hitting doubles a lot better with them too. Just scored my highest Bob’s 27 by hitting the bull on the last dart even though I had a blocker there

Yep, they are the ones Erik. Well the league matches tonight was up and down. After hitting doubles with ease at home I couldn’t take all my opportunities tonight. So be it. And of course the 140’s came where I couldn’t buy one today, but along with some 11’s and 7’s, but was happy they were in the corners adjacent to the triples.

The consensus was I was flash wanker with the flights, all show and no go. That they make no difference, although this was from someone who hasn’t tried them. All I know is that haven’t degraded my averages, and they have survived practice in better shape than the standards. Not swapping and happy with the first couple of days. I feel they don’t make a huge difference, but every small advantage should be taken. I improved my scores on CCU and Bob’s 27, and both of those games rely on tight groupings.

We all have/had those ups and down though and often enough after really gearing up in practice. Stick it out though and my experience was that it paid off in spades later.

Ha, I just noticed Van. I think the climb is going to be a bit steeper from here though!
