Like seeing the old plaques from dart victories in the pub!

Good post, sounded like some fun adventures.

    Thanks again Isaac!

FYI, after this cruise story wraps up, I still have stories from:

    PADA League and Special Events
The Oregon Open and playing with a top US player
    Snooping around SEWA's HQ
Some hot shots and trick shots in the Pressy Pally
    ...And another high seas adventure

And, Bones is winning the 180 race 21 to 6 for Isaac! :)

That's not too bad--although I know and he knows he shoulda coulda had more, right Isaac?--but it's pretty good since me and Bones started in December, and Isaac didn't really "get in" until February or March...

Not to mention, Isaac doesn't live at the Pressy Pally like me and Bones...

You'll see it--in all it's glory--soon, in the Thorn Report. If I ever catch up...

But, I did just post Part 19...thanks for following along CB, Isaac, and everyone. :D

Got my 7th there yesterday. So, *Naaaaaaaaaa*

Whatever. 1/3 of 180s in half the time or so probably isn't too bad.

Oh snaps--looks like I might have to put Isaac in charge of the PressyPally Ton80 contest updates! Let's see...that's 21-19-7 now!

But, Iceman, don't forget Mr. Smooth--he's got 2 in about a thousandth the playing time of you, me and Bonesy.

He'd never catch up even if he played all day, every day... 8) :)

Hey hold on now--the Thorn Retort was created so my reader could shower me with flattering compliments! Not for sarcastic cyber smack!

So, if you wanna be the Ton80 scorekeeper for me Icicle, you have to be the tough talk for the Pressy Pally. :D

My compliment to smack talk ratio is still off the freakin' charts, Thorn.

But wait, how was my post any more sarcastic smack talk than CB's post directed at me? hehe

Fine, fine, I shut up now.

That's true Zeke, good point--you are one of, if not the biggest Thorn Report fan, not to mention leading honorary Portland Thorn member...

Oh man, now Thorn's dissin' people in wheelchairs! "Low urinals for kids???"

(It's amazing how much cleaner your picture looks than when you're actually there... 8O )

Acutally, Soft Tipper isn't the only dart supply store in the Portland Metro area. On the west side is Billiards & More, near Washington Square in the same building as Les Schwab. They have a great selection and if they don't have what you want, Casey will order it for you and most of the time you will have the supplies within days. He is a great person and has standard, posted hours and is actually open during those times.

Not to dismiss the support that Soft Tippers has given us (the dart community) in many endeavours, including (but not limited too :) ) donations for the Oregon Open, Darts for the Troops and Thorns latest project.

Sorry Adam, but that poor old gent that showed up late (and who is featured in your last photo) is the guy who has to wait until everyone is gone so he can lock the doors.

This was his third year in a row for him. Hopeful that we'll be done by midnight, but knowing that it will probably be 2:30am instead.

If they have any normal sized doors in your rooms you could always take a board and an over-the-door hanger with you. Not good for mixing with others, but can tide you over none-the-less!

Sucks about Catalina - I think I would ask for a discount or something when I got home ("It was the MAIN reason I went on the cruise!!!" ).

Looks that way in the picture doesn't it CB?! Maybe, we definitely played the left board.

hey folks, I just gotta share this because I'm beaming with self-admiration...

I just got done rafting Hell's Canyon on the Snake River on the border of Idaho and Oregon...which happens to lead straight into the land of SEWA headquarters...

It'll be in the Thorn Report eventually, but for now, here's a teaser trailer of the two biggest rapids, "White Sheep" and "Granite" if you're in a googling mood--yours truly is sitting front right, you can glimpse me once or twice...

My crewmate had the HD hi-speed helmet cam was so sweet...

    Click this:

and a teaser's Ryan dropping into White Sheep, Class IV+...
