Broke my Catch 40 high today! Didn't even think I had but when I went to enter in my score of 40 I saw my previous high was only 36! Ya, I'm pretty happy with that and KNOW I can do better! :D

Thanks. Funny thing is I didn't think it was going to be that high when I added it up so was a nice surprise. Missed a lot I shouldn't have too so I KNOW I can score much better.

Shot this today as I was doing well in Dart Connect on my outs. Of course there was a few hours since I was practicing but managed a 27 with a lot of CLOSE calls. Not great but at least I hit 99 in 3 and 100 in 3 to finish it off :D

I had my new catch40 high this morning. Not a 40 but first over 20. Been putting in a lot of time on doubles. I kinda think of them as being like the 5 foot putt. Missing by wires with games like BHRtw and 27. Today I missed fewer and took out 99 in 3 with 19, tops, tops and 100 in 3 a wire off two! Not great but small steps!

Keep at it :) Took me a while to break above 39 but these days I am back into the 20's and struggling. Darn neck!

LOL I was inspired to shoot some bob's.....ya not so much! Lost on the 20 on my best run....sad and a far cry from my 460 something high! Guess I can work on it as I find these give me new targets to shoot at

Congrats. I looked at the practice rankings and discovered that I am just ahead of you, but it's been nearly ten years since I was able to post a high score (good thing they never expire....) I was at such a low point that I pretty much stopped throwing about six months ago. May be time to get back into it this spring/summer.....

Do it! I wasn't playing much for ten years but got back into it last year (soft). Then I injured my neck and really paid for it.

Now I'm trying, once again, to get back there. Been inspired by VanO :D

It’s nice to know that I am inspiring you. I really used to be passionate about it even at a time when I was really passionate about golf. Now it’s a great stress reliever for me without it being brainless like watching TV. That and it has hooked me again just like in the beginning. Probably will not get the chance to compete at it again but, who knows?!

Meager improvement for me here. Still hitting so many just outside the wires!? :( Shot some nice darts though. Missed on the t17 for single on 67 and hit Dbull for 2 like I was a pro. That felt good. Then the funniest was 27 left for last 3 darts and wanted s3 hit double and decided to follow and hit both in d3 for 27. LOL

Been finding myself competing with myself too much so, just shoot no more than 3. If I make the out in 2 or 3 great, if not move on to the next. No thinking about score just putting some darts in the board. Keeps the flow and keeps me thinking and working out new out combinations/routes!

Finally stopped hitting outside the wires(still did a lot) but had my new high today, 32!

Thanks! I was excited about it! I am finally feeling like I’m fine tuning s practical stroke. I’ve watched many slomo videos of the top players and have tried to isolate the “fundamental keys” to their action. Then in kind of Frankenstein style I’ve tried to incorporate one at a time into my own stroke.
