What's the best tip to use? most durable? Is there a longer than standard length?

How many do you buy at a time?

OK Soft tippers, you people need to chime in or we might start thinking you don't exist! LOL

L-Style's Lip Points are, by far, the best tips. Unless there's something new I haven't heard about, don't even bother with anything else.

I don't think they make longer than standard but could be wrong.

I found some L-Style Lip points that are long vs standard. Not quite as long as my steel conversions (with built in add-a-gram) but probably about the length of a standard steel tip point.

Cool. I throw the short ones so haven't paid attention to what else was available. Hope those will work for you.

So far I've only thrown them on a steel board but they seem to hold up well.

Ok I'll bite, sorry wish I had time to login more often.

I have been a fan of STD Lippoints for a long time. I use to have to order them overseas.

I have tried the shorts, the American, no. 5's, the accute but the STD are what I use.

I would use the Accute tips ( but just can't buy the barrels I want in the U.S) damn patent held by one company here.

Not to say there are not other brands (tiga, Cosmo) that perform well too.
when I play on the road I carry several brands , some board (different brands) some tips work better. I've also had what seems to be bad batches of tips, one time at a Bullshooters, I must of broke a half dozen tips in practice, the funny thing about that was I had several player give me samples (it opened my eyes to the differences in tips).

I use condor tips. They seem to work fine for Medalist and Phoenix boards. But if the spider is not in good shape, I get a lot of bounce outs. Could be the stiffness of the tips. Dunno. Haven't compared different tips on the same board.

Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback. I've yet to get my darts into an electronic board yet (what with moving and all) but hope to do so soon.
